Disclosure and Acknowledgement

The nature of excavating work typically entails using machinery including, but not limited to, loaders, backhoes, heavy trucks, etc., that often times leave the surface they travel over with torn up grass, ruts, displaced vegetation and muddy.

We’ll make every effort to leave the area we work in and around as smooth as possible with our machinery. General rough grading with a loader shall be considered “finished” grading for the purpose of this work.
Hand raking, rock picking and seeding shall be considered the property owners responsibility unless otherwise noted.

Work will be performed in a professional manner according to standard industry practices. Materials are guaranteed by the manufacturer. Any alteration, deviation or unforeseen costs may result in additional charges, such as fees to secure permits, licenses, inspections, surveying, underground obstructions, rock excavation, landscaping, handling contaminated material, and soil tests.
We are not licensed engineers and will be held harmless for engineering faults or defects. Payment is due in full upon completion of job. The quoted price is only applicable when estimate is signed and returned within 30 days of the estimate date. Signed estimate may be faxed. We will contact you with an approximate start date after we receive the signed estimate & authorization. Due to the nature of our business, it is impossible to predict an exact start/stop date. Your project's start/stop date may be extended by weather, equipment failure, material deliveries, permit acquisition delays and acts of God.

A minimum deposit of 25% is due prior to the job being started. The balance is due immediately upon the completion of the job. Terms subject to change at any time without notice.

This certifies my understanding of the above statements and that parts of my property may be disturbed and/or damaged during the performance of the work I’m contracting American Excavating Services, Inc. to do and thereby hold American Excavating Services, Inc. harmless.
